The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium was the venue for the test series involving Afghanistan and Ireland in March 2019. The first ODI on the stadium was also played in the same series on 28th Feb 2019. However, the first T20 international here was played between Afghanistan and Bangladesh on 3 June 2018.
